Justin & Imogen Luxmoore and family at the Heritage Wood on the farm commemorating twenty generations of the Luxmoore family living in Devon since 1297, with a line of twenty oak trees, planted 715 years later in 2012. In the Middle Ages the family lived on a sheltered moor on the east side of Dartmoor known as Lucksmoor.

Our cottages are situated around a small orchard and are therefore only moments walk from one another. Also, if you are wanting to dine together, Higher Westcott has a dining table and kitchen facilities that can cater for up to 21 people.

Directions to Westcott Farm
From the M5 - 6 miles
Leave the motorway at Junction 28 (signpost Honiton & Cullompton). Turn left to Honiton (A373). 2 miles ahead, just past the Keepers Cottage public house on the right, turn left signposted Sheldon 4 miles. Keep to this road for three miles right on up the hill (1 in 5 at the end) and along the top to a T-junction; turn right and in a few yards turn left, you will see the ʻSheldonʼ village sign. Westcott Farm is the white house just 200 yards on the left. Our cottages are situated at the turning just after the farm drive. Entrance is through large wooden gates.
From the A30 (A303) - 8 miles
Leave the A30 at Honiton, but instead of going into Honiton itself, turn right at the top of the slip road, going over the bypass, and then take the first left turn (signposted Dunkeswell & Luppitt). Follow this road for three miles to the top of the hill where the major road bears right; go straight over the ʻgive wayʼ road markings (signposted Dunkeswell & Hemyock). 1 mile ahead turn left at the cross-roads (signposted Broadhembury & Sheldon). 1 mile ahead turn right at the cross roads (signposted Sheldon & Blackborough). Follow the road round and take the second turn right to Sheldon where you will see the ʻSheldonʼ village sign. Westcott Farm is the white house just 200 yards on the left. N.B. Caravans must arrive via the A30 Honiton route.
